About the event
Preserve the colors of summer by creating your own floral & foliage prints on fabric in this Flower Hammering Class. Also known as Tataki-zome, flower pounding is a Japanese technique using a hammer to transfer the natural pigment of flowers & foliage onto fabric, creating unique patterns and natural dyes.
Age: This class is appropriate for ages 12+, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase one ticket for each person attending.
Location: This class will take place at Kali Ann Art Studio, located at 1144 E. Main Street, Rochester, NY 14609. The front entrance is ground level with a parking lot in the rear of the building at 355 Hayward Ave.
Accessibility: An accessible entrance is located by parking in the Autozone lot and using our front entrance.
