Boo-Tastic Block Printing on Fabric

Join us for a spooky exploration of relief printmaking on fabric! First, we draw or transfer a Halloween-themed design onto a rubber block, then watch a carving demo and carve your own custom stamp. Then, using your boo-tastic stamp, print a spooky pattern on a fabric item of choice: an apron, tote bag, or bandana. Please note: Please prepare a drawing or print out images for inspiration. Letters or symbols should be mirrored or printed in reverse. Block size is roughly 4x4 inches. Age: This class is appropriate for ages 12+. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This class will take place at Kali Ann Art Studio, located on the fourth floor of the historic Hungerford Building at 1115 E. Main St, Suite 416, Rochester, NY 14609. Please enter through Door #2 to access the stairs or elevator to the fourth floor. Take a right out of the elevator and follow the hallway to the studio.
