Block Printing on Fabric

Explore relief printmaking on fabric! First, carve a design onto a rubber block to create a custom stamp. Then, using the stamp, print your own pattern on a fabric item (choice of: apron, tote bag or bandana). Please feel free to prepare a drawing or print out images for inspiration. Letters or symbols should be mirrored or printed in reverse. Block size is roughly 4x4 inches.  

Age: This class is appropriate for ages 12+. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Please purchase one ticket for each person attending.  

Location: This class will take place at Kali Ann Art Studio, located on the fourth floor of the historic Hungerford Building at 1115 E. Main St, Suite 416, Rochester, NY 14609. Please enter through Door #2 to access the stairs or elevator to the fourth floor. Take a right out of the elevator and follow the hallway to the studio.
